Thrustmaster Launch Bespoke Rally Wheel

Thrustmaster has today announced the launch of a bespoke rally wheel. Fans of the World Rally Championship can now live out their rallying dreams with the Thrustmaster EVO Racing 32R Leather.

Rally design

The Thrustmaster EVO Racing 32R Leather wheel has been designed specifically for rallying. Its 32 cm (12.6”) diameter round wheel rim has been crafted to make each special stage a breeze to drive, with its slim and lightweight leather wrap providing comfort even in the most perilous of corners.

Magnetic sensor paddle shifters make gear changes seamless, with their long, curved design creating optimal accessibility and keeping you in control even in the most intense moments.

Vital controls are at your fingertips throughout, with 25 action buttons including four rotary encoders and an ergonomic directional pad. Every possible tweak to your car can be made on the move using a combination of these buttons, meaning players can focus on the driving and less on the settings.

For players wanting to time their gear shifts to perfection, seven LEDs display RPM information. These allow each shift to be undertaken at just the right moment, maximising performance.

Perfect balance

Whether you’re driving on snow, dirt, or asphalt, the lightweight design of the EVO Racing 32R Leather keeps you in control at all times. Its brushed aluminium central faceplate maintains minimal weight whilst featuring excellent rigidity and durability.

The EVO Racing 32R Leather rim is compatible with all other Thrustmaster wheelbases, both current and future, with two quick-release holders allowing you to swap out the rim at a moment's notice.

Despite its compatibility, however, the new wheel is the precursor to the brand-new Thrustmaster EVO Racing range. This new ecosystem features a detachable hub, with paddle shifters and the rim itself is interchangeable with future releases in the EVO Racing range.

The EVO Racing 32R Leather is supported on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC, maximising versatility for all players. It should be noted though that some features of the wheel may be unavailable on certain platforms, such as the LEDs on Xbox.

The Thrustmaster EVO Racing 32R Leather is available to purchase for £269.99/$299.99. This places it in the mid-tier pricing range for wheels currently on the market.
